Job Description

CloudFormation provides AWS customers with a way to automate the provisioning, updating and management their infrastructure by defining it in a declarative template.

Working on the CloudFormation team is a great place to get experience working across the breath of AWS services (including EC2, Lambda, API Gateway and DynamoDB), while also working on a rapidly evolving product that is growing quickly and has become a critical tool for customers who rely on AWS.

We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to help us build the future of how customers manage their infrastructure and resources on AWS. This person would be highly technical with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a program with a wide scope that covers all new and existing AWS services.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
  • Excellent written and oral communication and is comfortable presenting to groups and senior management
  • Excellent collaboration and leadership skills
  • 4+ years of Technical Program Management experience in a related industry
  • A track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects
  • Significant technical depth and coding experience in Python, Java, C++, Perl, or comparable language

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using AWS services
  • Experience with managing large cross-team projects
  • 3+ years of coding experience in Python, Java, C++, Perl, or comparable language
