Alexa is the Amazon cloud service that powers Echo, the groundbreaking new Amazon device designed around your voice. We believe voice is the most natural user interface for interacting with the home and is fundamental to enabling the dream of the smart, connected home.
This role will own program management that will help make customer voice interactions more powerful.

Key Responsibilities:
· Define, design, and deliver software applications.
· Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop product requirements and overall product roadmap.
· Collaborate with technical and design teams to define and design the product with the best customer experience.
· Drive the implementation and delivery of products. Collaborate with multiple agile engineering and design teams to coordinate, prioritize and deliver to an aggressive roadmap. Clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to cross-functional project teams.
· Support and enhance existing products with thoughtful and measurable impact.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years experience building production software systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional customer relationship skills including the ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions.
  • A deep understanding of software development and a track record of shipping software on time.
  • Experience building consumer software for web, mobile, or desktop.
  • Ability to dive deep on technical matters.
