Job Description

Amazon Media Group is looking for an experienced administrator to drive automation of processes and manage the next evolution of our (SFDC) environment. This includes configuration, maintenance, administration, and integration with other systems. Additionally, this person will work closely with stakeholders to develop business and technical requirements, and deliver solutions based on those requirements.

  • Ownership of all technical aspects of, including data migrations, data quality, systems integrations, 3rd party applications and AppExchange products
  • Responsible for implementing customized solutions that support business requirements and drive key business decisions
  • Seek out opportunities to utilize SFDC to improve processes and productivity, and make recommendations to support an organization scaling at a rapid pace
  • Utilize a change management (release) process to develop and implement new applications and updates to existing applications
  • Work with users to develop requirements for various initiatives, document those requirements, and build an implementation plan

Basic Qualifications

  • At least four years in Salesforce-based administration, project management, or analyst roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related field
  • Certified Advanced Administrator (ADM-211) or Developer (DEV-401) Certification
  • Experience using Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, Excel Connector, Salesforce for Outlook)
  • Involvement in at least two large projects
  • Strong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering, creating/deploying solutions to end users
  • Basic release management experience
  • Ability to use VisualForce, SOQL and APEX, although advanced coding skills are not required
  • Ability to critically review feature requests and make alternate proposals as warranted

Preferred Qualifications

  • In-depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the SFDC CRM application coupled with a good understanding around the business processes (Sales, Marketing, Partner Management, etc.)
  • Professional experience in a sandbox test environment, including development/staging/production (or similar) deployment cycles
  • Knowledge of Agile development practices, particularly sprint planning and assessment
  • 2 years Project Management experience or PMI Certification
