Job Description

Being the leader in storage infrastructure in the cloud requires continuous innovation and rock-solid delivery. The Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) is the world leader in storage in the cloud, providing a simple web services interface that can be used to store and retrieve any amount of data, at any time, from anywhere on the web. To make this happen, Amazon S3 needs rockstar engineers with the passion to handle the toughest problems in distributed systems.

As a Systems Development Engineer working on the Amazon S3 Border Platform, you will focus on the challenges of high performance networking and large-scale service architectures. You will own significant chunks of system architecture and low-level kernel and device deliverables that change the way Amazon S3 processes the massive number of requests going through the service stack. You will work with thought leaders in the cloud infrastructure space to innovate on low-level systems. You will be part of a team that moves fast to build solutions that impact a wide swath of customers with a focus on high standards in coding, testing, and delivery. If this sounds like your wheelhouse, then come work hard and make history with Amazon S3.
