Job Description

Amazon Video is changing the way millions of customers interact with video content. We deliver streaming video to Amazon customers through a variety of channels - subscriptions (Prime, HBO, etc), purchases and rentals and ad-supported video. Amazon believes so deeply in the mission of Video that we've launched our own studio to create original and exclusive content and were the first streaming provider to win an Oscar.
As our customer-base has grown, so has the amount of data that we have available, and the desire to make that data easily accessible by internal engineering, product and analytics teams. We're looking for a technical leader for a cross-functional team that's defining elegant ways to unlock the potential in the massive volumes of data from our customers.

We're building a brand new Computation Platform for Amazon Video, and we're looking for a leader to help establish the charter and quickly deliver in this visible space. If you care deeply about developing your people, are comfortable leading your teams through hard technical problems, can set clear direction, even with significant ambiguity, and have a consistent track record of balancing short-term urgency against delivering a long-term strategic roadmap, this is a great role for you.

We are an equal opportunity employer that values diversity. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
