Amazon Web Services provides companies of all sizes with an infrastructure platform in the cloud and we are growing our Sales team to help more companies make the move to AWS. If you are passionate about the cloud and have the skills, the Inside Account Manager role provides the opportunity sell the industry’s most relevant solutions with the industry’s leading company.
The Inside Account Manager is responsible for aggressively growing the AWS customer base within Enterprise or Named customer segments. The ideal candidate will possess both a sales and technical background that enables them to successfully maintain relationships, advise customers on AWS cloud solutions and grow AWS usage across a defined set of customers. A successful candidate will maintain active account management engagements with customers and prospects as well as consistently meet and exceed sales quotas. A single IAM might own either; one or more territories in conjunction with one or more field reps, or the growth responsibilities in largest customer’s divisions or subsidiaries within the Enterprise or Named segments.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years sales experience in B2B environments, preferably in a solution-sales / technology-related environment.
• BA/BS degree or relevant experience.
• Experience with CRM (Salesforce.com preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced customer relationship skills with proven sales record.
  • Ability to identify new revenue opportunities.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of existing and developing technologies as it relates to cloud computing; understand and identify opportunities for customers
  • Strong technical, sales, and communication skills
  • Manage time efficiently, meet personal goals, and work effectively with other members of sales
  • Ability to think and act independently within a fast-paced multi-task driven environment.
  • Excellent listening and verbal and written communication skills.
