Opportunity
The Selection Monitoring team is responsible for identifying worldwide selection opportunities and providing actionable data to the business teams to drive selection expansion. We are looking for SDEs to focus on challenging technical problems such as extracting structured-data from unstructured-content, building state-of-the-art crawling infrastructure, automatic classification, workflow prioritization and architecting large-scale distributed systems. This is a tremendous opportunity for SDEs who want to create reliable and scalable solutions to enhance selection for our customers. Basic Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science or related Technology Degree
  • 3 to 5 years of frontend development experience
  • Proficiency with frontend development including cross-browser HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP Protocol, REST, XML, J2EE, and AJAX
  • Eperience with frameworks such as JQuery, AngularJS, DOJO etc
  • Experience with server-side scripting languages (e.g. Perl, PHP, Ruby)
  • Understanding of web services technologies such as SOAP, HTTP, JSON, WSDL, XSD, and REST
  • Experience translating design mockups and prototypes into working application designs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong web application design skills, including information architecture, interface design and visual design
  • Knowledge of CSS3 and HTML5
  • Has programmed in an object oriented language such as Java, C#, C++, or the like before
  • Demonstrated passion for user experience design and improving usability
  • Experience creating scalable, high performance JavaScript Web Applications
  • Experience in Ruby on Rails, Google Django, relational database or Cloud storage services
  • Experience developing AJAX interfaces with AJAX libraries and frameworks (e.g. JQuery, DOJO etc.)
