Job Description

Are you excited to solve problems at the cutting edge of cloud computing? Do you want to work hard, have fun, and make history? If so come work for us in EC2 Networking! We are looking for a strong engineer to join our team with a focus on fleet scaling, provisioning, global health and config management.

EC2 Networking is crucial for Amazon’s long-term success as a technology services company. It is the future of Amazon, and we are rapidly expanding our team to meet our fast growing needs.

We want people who are passionate about developing services and automation for managing and maintaining a globally diverse fleet. You will be encouraged to exercise your judgment in proactively determining and recommending the best features, designs, and support models based on business objectives, timelines, and resource constraints.

As a support engineer, you will
· Troubleshoot, reproduce and solve challenging operational issues in a complex cloud environment, involving our SDN platforms, and interacting with multiple services across several AWS regions.
· Collaborate and help build utilities and tools for internal use that enable you and your fellow AWS Engineers to operate safely at high speed and wide scale.
· Drive operational excellence.
· Own the process for documenting and releasing best practices is it pertains to fleet health
