This position requires a strong background in software development, agile methodology, client side software, backend services, customer facing software and scalable architectures.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Management of resources, staffing, mentoring, enhancing and maintaining a best-of-class engineering team.
2. Develop the long-term strategy for your programs and translate that into an achievable action plan. Execute against plans and roadmaps.
3. Work with engineers and development managers to architect and develop the best technical design and approach.
4. Report on status of development, quality, operations, and system performance to stakeholders and management.
5. Own the complete development life cycle of a program from inception to servicing.

Basic Qualifications

  • Demonstrated strengths in the fundamentals of algorithm design, problem solving, and making smart tradeoffs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 7+ years professional experience in software development
  • A minimum of 7years of Software Development Management experience in leading full lifecycle development
  • 3+ years of industry experience in, at least, one modern programming language such as Java, Scala or C#

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
  • Hands-on technical expertise in both client-side and services programming.
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Deep understanding of software development in a team, and a track record of shipping software on time
  • Exceptional customer relationship skills including the ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions
