The Lumberyard Developer Support team is looking for an experienced game engineer to join our field engineering team. You will engage with both internal and external studios who use the Lumberyard and GameLift technologies as they develop the next generation of games. Your role will be one of collaboration & analysis (35%), creation (50%) and instruction & education (15%). Instead of being pigeon-holed into a certain feature or discipline, you will become an expert on all elements of the Lumberyard engine. You will bring into the role a generalist perspective and get to develop and leverage a broad range of game development skills. As a senior development engineer on the team, you will lead the development of some of the most prominent and critical features used by our customers.
You will meet gaming professionals in many disciplines from across the industry. Additionally, as the voice of our customer and their champion on the team, you will have a say in directing future development of the industry’s newest premium game engine. We love customer feedback here at Amazon, and you will be the person with the most direct access to it.
