The AWS Internet Services, Infrastructure team is responsible for the strategy, acquisition, implementation, and maintenance of relationships with strategic suppliers and partners to expand and grow Amazon's AWS throughout China.
This includes finding optimal solutions to Amazon's ongoing needs for data center capacity; working closely with network carriers to obtain capacity for expansion and growth of Amazon's China network; and meeting the operational sourcing requirements for new products, services, and initiatives prior to launch. By applying a unique blend of business and technology experience, you will work closely with both outside parties and internal teams to find creative, cost effective, and often unusual solutions to meet Amazon's ongoing growth and expansion needs worldwide.
The Internet Business Developer and Network Planner will play a pivotal role in organizing, tracking, and implementing network interconnection activities in close coordination with other team members. This individual will coordinate peering and transit connections with both external parties and internal teams, will assist in establishing peering with partner networks, and will work closely with network operations teams to ensure that peering and transit connections are upgraded in a timely and effective manner. This role is suited for someone who is excited by rapid growth and is willing to chart new territories and define new processes where there is none.
