Job Description

We are empowered to think big at Amazon, and the People Technology team is doing just that. Instead of using third-party systems, we are building new ways for employees to connect with one another. This is a terrific opportunity for someone who wants to impact – on a large scale – the way employees interact with one another.

We are seeking a Sr. Manager to be a part of shaping the future of global recruiting at Amazon. We want a leader to join our quest to build a best-in-class Recruitment product suite that will disrupt the current landscape of recruitment experience. You will help develop the long term vision and roadmap with a relentless focus on the candidate experience. You will use data and customer insights to design and build the best products for our candidates. You will also automate processes, build new applications, and manage both the Customer portals and the key system integrations.

As Senior Manager - Technical Recruitment Technology, you will assume end-to-end product ownership over Recruiting Experience products. As a leader you will be expected to dive deep into the technology from both a product and customer perspective. Customers and stakeholders may include developers, IT departments, or enterprise CIOs. To succeed, a Sr. Manager needs to have technical acumen and a passion for ownership.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 years working at a consumer-focused software company with large numbers of users.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with UX design and software development teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and persuasion skills
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related field required
  • 7+ years’ experience in a technical project management or related role.
  • Passion for technology, willingness to dive deep into the technical products Amazon is building, and commitment to learning and expanding technical knowledge

Preferred Qualifications

  • Quantitative background with high attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects and competing priorities in an ever-changing environment
  • Strong strategic aptitude; proven ability to define a winning business strategy and product roadmap and gain buy-in from stakeholders at all levels
  • MBA preferred
