As a member of the Glacier Ops team, you will work on mission-critical infrastructures, tools, and processes that enable our systems to scale at a rapid pace. One day might be a kernel module investigation; the next, Internet transit planning. You'll investigate and create new systems for scaling development and production. You’ll need to be sharp and impressive with your DevOps magic.
You’re right for the job if you're comfortable with deep technical Linux, Networking topics, and distributed architectures. You'll excel if you have enthusiasm for digging deep and a flare for sharp technical communication, prioritization and organization.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or relevant work experience
2+ years of distributed system management experience 2+ years experience programming in at least two of: Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Bash/Shell
Strong Linux server system administration skills Strong Windows Administrator skills (Windows Server, Active Directory) Experience building tools for automation (building, testing, releasing, monitoring and alarming) Ability to dive deep into complex technical problems Experience with version control like Git or Mercurial Excellent problem solving skills with a strong attention to detail Networking and Linux skills
