Position Title: Senior Vendor Manager

Position Responsibilities:
Negotiate contracts and buying terms and manage relationships with vendors. Formulate policies with suppliers to improve buying margins in digital distribution. Design and develop programs to improve buying processes both internally and externally with vendors. Work closely with cross functional retail and systems teams and create performance analyses on a day-to-day basis. Lead and manage projects from initial development to implementation that will streamline ingestion and distribution systems and processes and drive operational improvements. Coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying and selling digital products, and prepare, process, and manage release date schedules and promotional calendars. Perform business requirement analysis and strategic business planning for technical products. Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures. Perform quantitative data analysis using SQL, and provide in-depth analysis of market and digital delivery systems.

Basic Qualifications

Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Entertainment Media and Technology, Engineering, or a related field plus two years of experience as a Vendor Manager, Business Developer, or in another related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field plus five years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation in lieu of the Master’s degree and five years of experience. Two years of experience must involve vendor management and negotiation responsibilities; quantitative data analysis using SQL; project management; business requirements analysis; and strategic business planning for technical products.
