Amazon is seeking a Process/Lean Engineer for our Campbellsville, KY Fulfillment Center.  This position requires the ability to plan, organize, implement, and manage the strategic projects within the Fulfillment Center to ensure safe, economical, and effective use of materials, energy, and people.

• Assessing and optimizing the processes and equipment used in the FCs.
• Planning and designing systems that increase critical-to-quality (CTQ) business needs by improving integration of people, materials, equipment, software, and finance.
• Recommending changes to work methods, safety procedures, and labor standards.
• Facilitate large scale cross functional Kaizen events
•  Drive the adoption of Lean Six Sigma throughout the FC via demonstrated high level improvements in customer delight as expressed in the tactical metrics of Safety, Quality, Customer Experience, and Cost.
• Drive consistency of process, training, and reporting across functional teams.
• Assist in special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering
• Demonstrated use of analytical skills to solve engineering problems
• 7-10 years of Project Management/Engineering experience
• Experience managing large strategic projects
• Expertise with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and MS Project) and AutoCAD
• Ability to work with all levels of Associates and Mangers
• Exposure to Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing efforts, transportation/logistics and/or fulfillment/distribution centers.
• Some travel may be required.
